Valves with Augmented Reality

This project required manufacturing 200 units of the augmented reality valves shown in the photographs for a client who needed them in a very short time.
This client wanted to give their best customers one of these 3D printed valve models. To do this, we had to divide the 3D model into 5 parts that would allow us to produce it as quickly and unassisted as possible. Although it obviously generated the need for subsequent assembly, this was much faster.
But the manufacture of the valves with augmented reality is not the most complex element of this project; most of the development was dedicated to the application of augmented reality to them in order to show an example of the maintenance process that they require and in turn provide real-time information on their operation, the pressure to which they are subjected, and the flow rate.
Here we link a short video with some of the functions applied.
